3 years ago today our lives changed unforgettably in the most wonderful, dramatic and fantastic way!

We welcomed our first-born into the world and if it’s possible, we love her more and more each day!
It has been SO much fun to see her personality develop over the last 3 years, and to watch her to continue to grow and mature into such a ‘little lady’!

Today was no exception, the morning started off with her walking into the living room and seeing colorful helium balloons…… the “WOWS” that followed, and the “did you and Daddy get those for me mUmmy?” as well as the “thank you SOOOOOOO much, they’re lovely, aren’t they lovely?!” comments made my day alone.

When Ellie has talked about her birthday the last few weeks, she’s talked about birthday cake and balloons….. today she got both of those expectations met and more!

We had fun fun fun, Skype chats with Grannie Linnie and Aunty Cari in England, calls from Aunty’s and cousins in Minnesota, visits from Grandparents, friends, texts message and just general loving on our Ellie Bellie!

Here are a few photos to show what a wonderful day she had….. I can’t believe where the time has gone, and how much she’s growing. We do thank the Lord SO SO much for our precious bundle of goodness from Him and pray that the determination and strength that we see in her daily (sometimes in battles and sometimes in joys!) will be used by Him for mighty things in her future!

The ‘birthday balloons’!

Skyping with Grannie Linnie!

Butterfly birthday cake…. note the plates, sums up our little girl perfectly!

“A little Princess with attitude!”

She absolutely LOVED us singing happy birthday to her and was sooooo excited to blow out her number 3 candle!

Picture of happiness!

Grandma and Grandpa came to celebrate with us!

Jamie and Kim also came to celebrate birthday cake time!

Charlie loving some of the new toys too!

Sisterly love

Family of 4.5 (although the .5 is being appropriately hidden in this picture!)
